Update, Christmas and Health

Hello my friends, I finally get a chance to say Happy Holidays, Thanks Giving, Christmas, Hannakua.
I am happy to say that my MM has gone into the no growth mode on my lytic, lesions, that were eating holes my bones. I still take my list of supplements but have added a new one that was cooked up just for me. I am so excited, as if this had not worked, I would have had to go on Chemo/Revlamid, and my body did not want that.
The doctor did not say much but was a little surprised things had calmed down. I am feeling so much better and my head is clearer.

I am reading about my friends who have so much suffering and wish I could pass it onto these dear friends who suffer so much. I am grateful to God as I prayed for my increased healing, it was touch and go for a while here and not a wonderful space to be in.
I am feeling happier and seem to be more healthier.
I found the little Christmas items above are so cute, am pleased to say I was strong enough to
go to the Christmas Tree festivals around the valley. I have given up on buying lots of gifts and
just do some token thank yous.
When one is near death it becomes important to look at the things that are meaningful. Christmas should be about Christ/Jesus (for those who believe in Christmas) and not about rushing out at 4am to get the latest toy of thing. When I was in my singing group we used to sing a song that said "put Christ in you Christmas this year".
We are gearing up for a long trip, and only the fact that I am on this new regime am I well enough to do this. We are off down under in January for a wedding, and it will be so nice and warm at that time. It is getting harder and harder to get travel discounts and we were fortunate to have it work out. The airlines won' let you upgrade with your points unless you book months ahead and even then you are fortunate if they let you use them, I have been doing this for 25 years and it is amazing how things have gone down hill in this regard. But on the other hand I am happy I can travel.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving and especially when I Only had to make my super fresh cranberry recipe, walk half a block and get fed.
This is a really difficult time for those with illness but especially cancer ass they want to be with their loved ones or travel and cannot. Another side issue is money, that flows out the door to the doctors and hospitals. Even with insurance we are not always covered. My friends son has had a brain tumor for 7 years and now with a relapse he is racking up big bills and I think it has made them almost broke.
It is wonderful to read a story of animals or children who have something special happen to them
Here is a nutty cat video to make you laugh: The music does not add to it.
Have a stress free week and do not overspend!

Winter Came Early but so did Healing!

This is a picture of our childhood paradise where we raised goats, cows, chickens, crops etc. It was a much simpler time, and definitely less stress. The food was home grown, we made our own butter and cheese and ice cream. Nothing like cream churned ice cream fresh. WE grew our own crops and sold the rest off to a large market.
Life goes on and I am happy to report that I am doing100% better than I was.
My natural products, that I poured into myself have been a great benefit, My body is healing and my MM is getting knocked on the head again. We just have to to get it back in its box but I am hopeful of same. I still have the Revlamid stored in the cupboard but have a feeling I may not need it...That was a close one....
Have wonderful docs who look out for me but not always understanding my preference for natural.
So much is now being opened up about natural versus older Western medicine. If we could have an opening of the minds where the younger docs can see the benefits of both it would be wonderful. In my quest to get better I have met many wonderful people but a few who have hindered my journey, I feel sorry for them as they are the losers in life.
With the date 11/11 looming many people are fearful but instead of being fearful pray for your fellow man and give up fear and embrace love; Here are a few hints we can use:-
  • Shine light into the darkness
  • See the heart in every person
  • Spread love and transformation to all
  • Invite spiritual guidance in supporting these suggestions This applies to healing ourselves, if we use this ideal instead of fear things work out better.
Here is a quote from Young Living about oolong tea:
When it comes to Jade Oolong tea it provide you more great health benefits :
1. One of the biggest health benefits of all is its capacity to aid weight loss. Experts from the University of Tokushima School of Medicine (Japan) proved that regular oolong tea consumption can stimulate fat burning process and specialists from the Suntory Research Center in Japan found that drinking Oolong tea can help lowering the fattening effects of the carbohydrates we receive with food. A research conducted by China in 1998 shows that of all the 102 female participants continuous consumption of oolong tea for six weeks resulted in body weight deduction.

Scientists from the University of Tokushima also found that oolong tea can double the amount of fat being excreted. They also proved that people who drank 2 cups of oolong tea each day burned over 157% fat than those who drank the same amount of green tea.

A US study conducted in 2001 by Physiologist Dr. William Rumpler of the US Agriculture Research Services’ Diet and Human Laboratory shows that oolong tea is effective in burning fat for energy.
2. It benefits for our skin it can do wonders with combating the aging of skin especially with wrinkles and dark sports.
3. It has strong powers to prevent heart disease and cancer.
4. It is beneficial for diabetes patients.
5. It will help reduce high blood pressure. The researches which took place in Aichi Medical University proved that drinking oolong tea can help in lowering our LDL (bad) cholesterol level and polyphenols containing in oolong tea have positive effects on our arteries and must be considered a good support for the function of our cardiovascular system.
6. It assists in prolonging and improving vitality and life span
MANY of us need to put on weight but when I first get my cancer active I put on a lot of weight. As we have little energy then it is hard to get it off, hence the above little Blurb.
This week several people asked about inflammation and how to reduce it, Margaret has a lot to say but once again in the fight against cancer, adding Pectasol, Qucertin, VitD or D3, along with Curcumin, helps fight disease and reduce inflammation. It is great for those on chemo as it helps the body cope better.
I am so thankful for my recovery and pray for those of you who have struggled lately. Have a great weekend, Be blessed, and Be well.
Here is a cute joke someone forwarded to me:
Reportedly, a woman was flying from Seattle to San Francisco.Unexpectedly, the plane was diverted to Sacramento along the way.The flight attendant explained that there would be a delay, and if the passengers wanted to get off the aircraft the plane would re-board in 50 minutes..

Everybody got off the plane except one lady who was blind.A man had noticed her as he walked by and could tell the lady was blind because her guide dog lay quietly underneath the seats in front of her throughout the entire flight..He could also tell she had flown this very flight before because the pilot approached her, and calling her by name, said, "Kathy, we are in Sacramento for almost an hour. Would you like to get off and stretch your legs?"

The blind lady said, "No thanks, but maybe Buddy would like to stretch his legs."

Picture this:All the people in the gate area came to a complete standstill when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with a guide dog for the blind!Even worse, the pilot was wearing sunglasses !People scattered.

They not only tried to change planes, but they were trying to change airlines!True story..... (but who cares if it isn't, it's funny!)Have a great day and remember.....THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR.A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER IS A DAY WASTED

Healing, faith, Future

The year has flown, here it is the 20th of October and the days are flying by.
Am happy to report my bone and rod and lesion check up went well, yesterday. I have faith I can stay on top of the latest set back and overcome and live a long and happy life.
Here I was just before I graduated, a long time ago. My if one only knew what was ahead, and really it is a blessing we do not, as we would give up before we started.

The world is in turmoil with death and destruction coming at us each day so when we see needles violence we pray for those that feel it is the only way. Those of us who have and are facing an earlier demise, hang onto every day as a precious gift. I thank the Lord each day for all my blessings, as I would not be writing this if I had no faith or prayer.
I tripled my natural things and they seem to be working. I am going to add a new supplement next week and pray for a miracle. I have nothing to loose and I am putting off the Revlamid/Chemo as long as I can. For some of you there is no other choice.
The sun is shining, the wild animals are having their last fling before the cold really sets in.
The CC ladies and Margaret have been coming up with real gems on research and progression of this MM disease.
The old Standbys Curcummin and Quercertin are a good additive to those taking chemo, it does help. Add some alpha lipoic acid caps and that helps with the side effects and also attacks the cancer.
I have come across lots of new articles and will try and recap next week. I am trying to get off the narcotics and am 99% successful. They screw with your mind. I am walking mostly unaided around the home. The home health did a physical therapy check on me yesterday and were impressed. I have no appetite but that is down the list to work on. If this loss of appetite helped me get slimmer it would be great but when you have no energy it is hard to burn fat.
I have daily carrot and greens juice which help. I was reading about Frankincense oil being a big destroyer of cancer. I use Young living oil as it is more pure and concentrated. I also have a bag from the Oman and you diffuse it, very strong but effective.
"Women with breast cancer survival rate is 5 years (89%)
1 out of 6 Men develop prostate cancer also very good, 5 year survival, much earlier screening and detection are used now Colon – up to 90% · Lung – up to 50% · Pancreas – up to 23% Can essential oils induce apoptosis in cancer cells?
Apoptosis: Is a form of cell death in which a programmed sequence of events leads to the elimination of cells without releasing harmful substances into the surrounding area.
· Researched has found that - Balsam fir, lavender, Frankincense, Palo Santo, sandalwood and tsuga – can all be used in and on the body for repairing any years ago Gary has said that the Essential Oils have enzymes and that is what digest cancer cells but no one would believe him.
Now there is proof. Studies have been going on about enzymes since 1993, an old enzyme(studied dates back to 1960s) and what was found that–a deoxy hydrogenas showed that Frankincense knows the difference between healthy cells and cancerous cells.
Research has showed the death of a cancer cell was ate up by enzymes activity.r. HK Lin is working with Dr. Mashmoud M. Suhail on the frankincense research for cancer.
Dr. Suhail lives in Oman, and runs our Oman farm and distillery for Young Living.
Dr. Suhail earned his medical degree from Al Anbar University and is now one of the world's foremost researchers on alternative medical therapies. His goal is to improve frankincense resin sorting and extraction methods to further increase the purity and potency of its essential oil."
From Gary Young, Young Living oils.
This makes great reading and encourages me to add as much natural as possilble.
Have a great week!!!

Happiness, Universal Disturbance, Healing

Well, you never know what the day may bring. I AM doing much better, however too much radiation laid me low for a week, and I had to rest from being pounded. There is so much turmoil in the world at this time, it is definitely affecting how we heal and how we feel.

Political, emotional, illness etc are taking their toll on us humans. A lot of people choosing to pass on, and others being offered redemption. I personally feel that all that is happening, is affecting us as a unit and it encompasses the whole world. I am so fortunate to have so many caring friends, and while my family is far away, they too offer prayer and encouragement.
For those of you who are feeling dismal, sick, lonely depressed, remember God, or the higher power you believe in, is watching over you. In my case I know it for a certainty.
I will have to make some tough choices but believe I know what is the correct path for me and I practice prayer and mediation, to help steer me on the correct path.
The wonderful people who post on CC and facebook, give hope and promise to many, citing the latest research, possible cures, while pursuing their own line of inquiry. I had been contemplating going on Revlamid and my doctor jumped the gun and sent it.(I tod the drug co I was too sick to take it but they sent it anyway. I do not know the out come from this end, but after the severe debilitating sickness for a week, I know it is not time for that.
Maraget from Margret's corner has had some good suggestion. I am doubling my Curcumin, adding Quecertin, and doubling my polymva and Co Q 1o. Daily fresh vege juices and light healthy meals, (I am not hungry) to keep my body with nutrition and give me energy to exercise.
My surgeries are healing well but the broken collar bone is the bane of my existence. This must be a first, the doctor who scolded me and told the nurses to ignore me, (Because he insisted they had not broken my collar bone) sent me a letter and apologized for the way they treated me.
Hmmm....No drastic action on my part but I did report what went on. One must be an advocate or have one.
3 Days of fall weather, rain and cloud but supposed to have a bit of sun for next week. Yea!!
Please do not give up,try something new, do not be afraid to try things as most will not hurt you or interfere with your treatment, HOWEVER, check with your doctor to be sure.
Each week so much is posted on the web do not be afraid to check things out, you may not agree, but it opens the mind to a new way of thinking. Great Weekend of blessings and healing to all!:)

Home, Hospital and Healing!

Well my friends, I am finally able to get back to my blogging. Just spent 2 weeks in the hospital. Am now enjoying being home. I had a new laptop with me but it would not let me log into my websites.
Have had quite a September but am thrilled to say back on the road to recovery.
2011 is a banner year for sickness for me, and I am blessed to be able to overcome with help of friends, family, and good doctors. My natural healing has come in handy but now it is time to add a little western medicine.
I had 3 bone lesions where the MM (multiple myloma) became active this year, and ate a nice hole thru my radius, humerus and femur. The first one radiation was used and was effective. However the downside was the radius did not heal after radiation.l The cure of a rod not available, so I am left with a very slow healing radius bone. The doctors felt that they would not chance another non healing bone so they put a rod in my humerus (Upper arm bone) Went very well but they found another hole in my femur, so we had a rod put in. The care for the second surgery was less than optimal and the nursing staff, with their rough handling, contributed to breaking my collar bone. (I won't bore you with what I went thru but modern medicine is still barbaric at times, especially when relying on sub standard care.)
The hospital refused to believe the bone was broken, took an xray and said no broken bone. 24 hours later, after discharge a follow up xray showed the break.
Very painful and now I have half an arm to work with.
The rod in the femur went well for 5 days, then i COULD NOT walk, so back to the hospital. My surgeon does not practice in my usual hospital, but the ER decided I should go to the cancer unit where I usually get treated. (I was thankful for that)
2 weeks bed rest, physical therapy, and no stress, got me back on my feet. some femur pain but at least I am operational again. not easy dressing and having a shower with no arm movement but I have home health 3 days a week with some PT 3 times a week. Have hired extra help, but the pocket book suffers.
Now to the cause and cure. I was fortunate that the doctors allowed me to use all my natural remedies and supplements, while in the hospital. I have 7 more radiation treatments due. I am putting myself on a strict diet of daily fresh vege juices, liquid calcium, magnesium vit D3, to heal my bones. I am adding vit K 7 (One has to be careful using this as it thickens the blood but my POlymva has thinning the blood effects) I am on the curcumin , liver cleanse and other remedies. I am taking all in moderation as one can get too much of these things.
I have consented to a short dose of Revlamid, ???Dex if half dose, and see what happens. I need to gt the MM back in its box. 7 years of hardly any problems is pretty good.
The Polymva, cuts the side effects of Revlamid without interfering with its job. Not a fan of dex (We don't get along but will try for a limited time) I am starting a diary and log to see what I do, how often and how the improvements show up.
I have a big wedding to attend in Australia and I will not miss it. (January 2012)
I met many wonderful people in the hospital and if one starts to feel sorry for oneself, then look around, many are worse off.
I thank family, friends and strangers for their prayers and encouragement. This is what healing oneself is all about. Having faith and using it on a daily basis.
My myeloma body missed me. I pray for all those who are suffering at this time. I am researching a new group of help aids for building bones and will post here. Hopefully I can get more blogging done and pass on much needed information.
Take care all!!!!!! Be Well

I'm Back with Good News and More Healing Tips

Hello my friends sorry it took me so long to post, thanks for all your concerns. As you know I started the year with a broken radius, that had a hole in it from the Multiple Myeloma, had that radiated, and a week later, a small lesions on my loser jaw, that radiated. I then took a rest and went to Virginia and Florida to visit friends and family. managed to get a sinus infection that turned into a 'flu like cold. I think I was a little run down from all my treatments.
Personally I just don't know how you all cope with chemo, as the radiation is more than enuf to keep me tired.
My new oncologist came up with a way to find lesions, by doing a bone survey. Of course one more popped up in my R Humerus (upper arm) I had to have a rod inserted and that took a month to get back on my feet but actually to use my arms. Radiation for another 3 weeks and now all gone!!! Yea!
Staying healthy takes practice and dedication. I was not allowed to use my walker for several weeks due to the prospect of breaking my arm, so now I am back on the treadmill. The heat is stopping me from being outside but I did garden for 20 minutes today.
I learn something new each week and do not always remember it by the time I post. The hyperbaric oxen therapy is still on in several months for the broken arm. It is limiting to have the arms in this state, I finally get to do things I want to and have no arm strength and of course pain when I use my left arm. (I do not take pain pills as they muddle the old mind even more)
I recently read an article where the newest chemo for MM is not working very well when used with Dexamethasone, and I am sure this is true for other chemo's as well.
Dexamethesone, in my humble opinion, is an emergency use to relieve the pressure and swelling for the cancer and is great for a short term use but this study said it actually made some patients have unneeded side effects.
I also saw a different study, when one of the "new" chemo's being touted, was actually started in the 70's and to my horror was partly compiled from the pesticide DDT. It also showed that this new chemo is very similar to the 70's version with a few tweaks and a new fancy name. I will try and find the source again.
We are what we eat and are exposed to, so switching to a healthier lifestyle, is imperative. The new studies suggest that 1 in 5 will have cancer and if not stopped 1 in 2. We are in the middle of an epidemic.
Water, food, atmosphere have been polluted and altered, it is up to up, where possible, to grow our own food, read labels and drink clean water. Fluoride is another source of poison in our drinking water. Buy a simple filter and you can use the tap water, and let the filter take out the poisons. We are fortunate as we are on well water, have no idea how long we can do this, as water is becoming more precious than gold.
I will get some good information on these things and this will help us all have a better outcome.
Genetics has a part in all this, and I am finding this out the more I am treated.
Hope you have a good week will try and get this site going again on a regular basis. I am posting on my www.healingcancernaturally.net as I have neglected that but am going to start with a cute story about our ducks and geese. If you have read this blog from the beginning this just a new installment on nature.
I have posted a super video on home page about food and contamination, it is short.

Happy Summer Days and Recovery

Here is my Clematis taking on its summer dress. Nothing like your garden and flowers blooming prolifically to help you heal. I am almost back on track after several months of minor setbacks.
First the lesion on my left ulna allowed it to break when I hit the doorway, not MM, but slow healing. I found out a little more about radiation. I am allowed to have the hyperbaric for healing. However, not for 6 months. The docs tell us that the radiation is out of our system in 2-3 weeks...Hmmm. I cannot have the hyperbaric as the radiation interferes with the oxygen healing till 6 months have passed. I find this interesting as if the Radiation is dissipated then I should be able to have the hyperbaric.
I take Ioderal after each segment of radiation to remove the excess radiation so hopefully it does take it out.
I am excited about having the hyperbaric and hope the "powers that be " do not change their minds.
Thanks to Doug I pushed for a way to get tested every 6 months, that allows me to get a handle on my MM popping up. I had a complete body scan with xray's and that is how they found the plasmacytoma in my R humerus. It had eaten a hole thru the bone so the best cure was a steel rod then 3 weeks of site specific radiation. I started the radiation yesterday. Then I am thru with this. Pray for a non recurrence of a any of these lesions.
I find out more and more each day about cancer and also my MM. I have many lesions left on my spine, Femur's head/brain area but they are dormant at this time. Sooo I need to take my own advice and adhere strictly to my regime.
I actually feel relieved as I never really knew my status but obviously the polymva and the added supplements have been keeping these nasty things in check.
I am looking into some additional supplements to help boost my immune system and will chat about those next time.
After 2 weeks, am back on my feet after rod surgery - yes it was painful - but so is active Multiple Myeloma when it eats your bones away. Had to go to a different hospital but they did very well in taking care of me.
I am thankful for all the reprieves I am getting and now will blog more about helping those out there who need it.
I have added a couple of new funny video's to my website so enjoy. We will chat later, and yes Paula am happy to be back and will read your blog updates over the weekend.

Rushing around and preparing for surgery.

Here is a picture of me before multiple myeloma along with our dog Monty ll. We had 10 acres with nothing behind us, lots of fruit trees and fun in the sun. This was an especially good spring and we had so many cherries and apricots you could not count them.
My Myeloma buddies have been after me to post so here goes. I am schedule to have a rod put in my arm on Wednesday. The reason? Due to a bone survey done by my new doctor, 1 lesion was found to have eaten thru my humerus bone and it cannot be treated till I have it stabilized. It is bad enuf having a broken radius now they want to do away with both my arms so to speak. I cannot have the radius fixed due to the high probability of paralysis in the fingers so we have to look for other solutions.

I have found a new formula for my bones and it will show a big improvement. STill waiting to hear about the Hyperbaric to try and get more blood to the radius.
I do have wonderful doctors who do not give me more than I need medication wise. (I have them trained LOL) but it is comforting to know they will not push off on me the latest and greatest invention in drugs that have not been tested. What happens in 5 or 10 years. Half the drugs today get pulled because too many people died or had life threatening reactions.
My diet has been upgraded and someone mentioned to me today that Gluten allergy's have been associated with Multiple Myeloma, so I am going to try gluten free and hope I can do it.
Anything to improve one's health no matter what cancer maybe lurking. Fungus and cancer are tied together so keeping a fungus free diet and maintaining a proper pH, go a long way to healing.
I have posted on my www.healingcancernaturally.net about my bone problems and the steps that really help. I had to leave off one ingredient as when people read suggestions, they do not read when it says, if you have this...do not take. It is such a simple remedy but anyone who wants to know more may email me.
I am fortunate to have good friends who came to help me, I had to buy an "old peoples lift chair" today as having no arm ability I cannot get up by myself without my hands. I lost a large portion of my spine and even though do well this is a new twist till I heal.
There is so much suffering at this time and I see people with all types of cancer being reactivated as the cancer returns. So much fear. I ask you all to take heart as there is always something to help out.
So will have more general information in a couple of weeks but have no idea when I can use my hand/arms again, hopefully only a few days.
I am a conundrum to the doctors but mostly they treat me very well.
I can only pray for you all and your various problems and worries and know all will be well.
Till next time Blessings.

Myeloma Buddies and Friends Who Help us

Here are my companions when I blog. The myeloma buddy came from Paula, who writes Feresaknit Blog, who is a knitting and crocheting master. The Myeloma buddies she makes and sells to support the UK myeloma foundation.
Multiple Myeloma is a rare cancer (unfortunately the numbers are increasing) with about 1% of the population suffering from this incurable cancer.
My motto, Where there is life there is hope.
I have had Freddy the frog for years, I purchased him as a gift but could not part with him, he watches over me.
Our dogs have gone to dog heaven so I have to have different mascots to spur me on.
My trial this week has been with having check ups and figuring out how to heal my broken radius. It was originally a hairline fracture but now has become more broken. The no longer put the radius or ulna in a cast so you have to wear a sling and try not to use your arm.
For me the downside has been radiation. As I had a bad multiple myeloma lesion at the fracture site, the 20 radiations did not help the arm to heal. As it was healing better, I used it more, now I am back to the sling. Yes I type with it but that is about all.
The doctors have been trying to see what can be done. The hand surgeon can put a plate in but the consequences can be dire. Highly likely that I can develop paralysis of the hand, as they do not see the nerves that work the fingers (it is because the break could not be in a worse place.)
Sooo we nixed that idea, have doubled the calcium and magnesium and Vit D in hopes it will improve it. A smart friend suggested hyperbaric oxygen . I check with my 3 doctors and they thought it was a brilliant plan.
Maybe brilliant, now I am fighting uneducated people, who say that the insurance company may not pay for it. If I had a weeping sore would be different, but one of the criteria is to have had radiation that worsened the problem. I am anxiously awaiting my radiologist to call and tell me it can be done. He is 110% for it so now it is up to politics. "They" say it has never been done we need to study it..Hmmm wonder what I am..So that is my saga this week.
I am doing well but it does tire you out. I had 5 elements acupuncture this week, to lessen my chest infection. 2 antibiotics and I am not ready to try anymore so up the Vitamin B and Cod liver Oil.
My website www.healingcancernaturally.net has been updated so do not forget to refresh your browser when visiting. I am still adding new content but had to get the previous content organized.
Have a great week and remember to meditate.!:)

Forgotten spring, Positive Healing

I need to take more pictures of my flowers, they are now abundant.
Spring? I do not think we have had any.
Spent a couple of weeks on the east coast and it was lovely and warm, but nothing like being back home in a quiet place.
Unfortunately my trip brought on a bad chest cold. I might add in all my travels, in the past 3 years, this has not happened. The secret has been to carry Colloidal Silver fine mist spray and use several times while on the plane. If I feel a tickle in my throat any time out comes the spray.

I had to go visit a local clinic in Florida, and believe me, down there, the health services are very perfunctory, as they cater to many elder with multiple problems. (We had an experience 3 years ago, after my husband had some heart surgery here at home, and on our trip we had a complication. I must not get negative, but it was no thanks to the doctor, that we got any help. I heard this time the hospital was so bad they closed it.....)
Anyway I met the best clinic doctor I have come across in a long time. He actually was genuinely interested to know what I did for my natural healing, it was amazing.
Every now and then one can have their faith in humanity restored. Yes he did give me antibiotics, which I needed.
My immune system had suffered, as I had just finished 2 months of radiation, for my Multiple Myeloma outbreak in my arm, now gone, and my lower jaw, a tiny ten cent sized spot, but they can have terrible consequences if not treated. I have a wonderful radiation doctor, who understands my body and spreads the treatment out, instead of blasting away at me,all at once.
Now both are gone and my body is getting back in shape.
It was confirmed to me that the spot on the jaw was from Cell phone and the cordless phone use. I am one of those weird people who are super sensitive to radiation from the phone along with the magnetic forces, put out by of same.
I was counselled to go back to plug in phones and only use a long ear chord for my cell phone or put it on speaker. SOOOO hopefully the head will stop having these outbreaks. It just hits the bone.
Yes lots of controversy over phones and their output of negative waves. My husband purchased a meter that detects radiation out-put of phones- all kinds - and to our amazement the cordless phones had waaay more output in the negative than the cell. It is just that people use cell phones more. Myself I am a light user so this time I am taking notice.

I have increased my polymva, my curcumin, more cod liver oil, and D 3 and again changed my diet so that I get more fresh items, very little red meat and easily digested meals and snacks.
Other than my chest infection, which is slowly going away, I am really doing quite well.
Before I left I was walking a mile + a day with the help of my walker and hope to increase it this coming week.
Enjoy the summer and get outdoors, go barefoot, it grounds you, makes you feel better. Have a wonderful week and say a daily prayer of thankfulness for all that you do have.

Food Tips for my Friends-When you loose your appetite Due to Radiation and Chemo

Did you know pansies are edible? Not on the menu when you are feeling a lack of appetite..They make wonderful visual accessories for your meal. How the meal is served and the surroundings are important. In 2004 I was afflicted with nausea and no appetite. After radiation I had a metallic taste in my mouth and nothing tasted good.
It is very difficult to enjoy food when you are not hungry, or in pain. Pre-make what you can when you are feeling well and refrigerate or freeze.
Make a chopped fruit salad from fresh fruit. Make that one of your snack meals, add some heavy whipping cream to spice it up. Do not eat protein with fruit, the do not mix well. Bananas, Mango, Papaya, grapes, apples, pears...yummy
I have a few more things that help the appetite and are not difficult to make. My friends were amazing in cooking me meals each week. My husband does not cook but I was so desperate for a taste of something I had him make me an egg baked custard. While I could not put sugar in it, I had him add a little honey and vanilla and it was delicious. I was so ill I lay my head on the counter and read the directions to him from the Joy of Cooking. It turned out perfectly.
I had a pot of vegetables with meat. I could not eat it but I took the rich broth from the pot and added a teaspoon of curry powder and that was some of my meals. I also used cream soups, (I must say Campbell's came in handy but I had friends to make homemade soups and broth) and added curry and a tablespoon of heavy whipping cream.
My cravings were for curry all the time but not everyone can appreciate it. However Curcumin/Curry powder is a anticancer agent. Did you know the people of India. Pakistan and similar countries have very low incidence of cancer? The live on Curry.
Need something Sweet add a tsp of honey.
Stay away from a lot of sweet fruit juice. Instead have water with lemon. Give yourself a weekly treat of juice or soda BUT NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS. Add a little honey if you cannot take the water and lemon.
Fresh vegetable juice is ideal for nutrition, digestion and giving energy. If you own a juicer I have recipes at www.healingcancernaturally.net if you cannot manage that, Albertson's. Co-op and Fred Meyer carry these juices. Carrot, and green vegetable juices are ideal. Beet juice is wonderful on a weekly basis and helps cleanse the liver.
After you radiation is finished, post 10 days, if you still have sores or metallic taste in your mouth, add 1 Ioderal for 2 weeks, once daily is an excellent way to bring your body back into health. This is ONLY for those who have had radiation!
Choose easily digested foods, a chopped egg salad with parsley, celery, pear or apple pieces diced and grated carrot is easily digested. Eat small meals every 2-3 hours if you cannot take much in.
Small amounts of angel hair pasta or smaller pasta's with vegies, egg, chopped soy, or fish or chicken. Make it attractive, serve on a pretty plate, put parsley garnish, make it appetizing.
A Vitamin B 100 daily is also good for those receiving radiation. That is a capsule that has all the B vitamins that we need. Radiation depletes our nutrition and having 6-8 glasses of water a day is also beneficial.
Take a few vegies and cut into a pan boil, add spices and put in the blender with 1-2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream (curry) make a delicious meal.
MUSIC: Listen to soothing music while eating, be happy, helps digestion.
Take a tablespoon or two 10 minutes before a meal or add a digestive enzyme
Keep your pH between 7.4 and 7.6 Directions for this are also on www.healingcancernaturally.net Lemon juice also works as an alkalizing agent once it hits the stomach.
I hope these tips help you all and may you be able to again enjoy your food. We will overcome together.
As usual these are my suggestions and you can always check with your doctor to see what is ok.
Have a wonderful week.

Make May a Special Month for All

As mothers day is celebrated, let us remember all the wonderful things our mother have done for us, and are still doing.
Some will not have had the closeness of a mother's love and maybe struggling with feelings of despair. There are many who love you and I once heard a psychologist say, just because a woman gave birth to you, it does not make them a mother.
I bring this up as feelings of being unwanted and unloved often come into the illness we suffer in our lives.
Flowers to me are so calming and peaceful I just have to have them around me. Our mother used to say, just because it is mother's day do you give flowers, you should give flowers just because you want to, not wait for a special day.
Another thing that is helpful to healing is color. Lots of pinks, green, purples, yellow, are wonderful tools to help others. Incorporate in your clothing or things around you.

We had the wonderful Royal wedding last Friday and that brought peace and love throughout the world. Everyone forgot their troubles for a while and just enjoyed the pleasure of watching something beautiful take place.

Then this week another bump in life's road, but let us focus on forgiveness not revenge. In healing work, forgiveness is not easy, but what a wonderful opportunity for us to forgive those that caused us such grievous harm. Something to think about.
Spring is finally letting us have some beauty and the birds are building nests, and the Geese are having goslings, so let us enjoy these moments. Say, " I will make an extra effort to meditate and enjoy nature, " this month of May.
I have posted a new video on my website www.healingcancernaturally.net it is a cat kissing dolphins in the ocean. An amazing sight.
Have a good week and may your health improve!!!

Post Easter and Hope for a Real Spring

I trust your Easter was fun and wonderful. WE had a busy time with friends, as none of our family reside in this state. Health good, but not enough exercise.
I baked 24 Cup Cakes, and so I would not eat them distributed them out to the neighbors. We have a couple of new families in the neighborhood and they have younger children 4-8. They loved the cupcakes and wrote me the cutest notes and thank you notes. One of the little ones decided I needed a reward and must have raided her mothers purse. She dropped in a $5 note, it was so cute. The mother was a little taken back when I returned the money and was grateful.
Children are so wonderful at that age, I also received other wonderful notes from the younger kids of a friend. It is nice to see the parents teaching the children the right thing to do and I feel blessed for it.
I am recovering nicely from my radiation and hope to be fully operation when we take a nice trip at the end of May.
When one ages, or becomes ill, the energy that one gets from having young people around is a wonderful thing.
Spring is a time of renewal and that is what I am trying to do to heal myself. I have been reading a wonderful new book, which I will chat about later, on how we sabotage ourselves into not believing we can heal ourselves. Takes a lot of work.
My flowers are starting to bloom despite the unusual frosty nights we have had, and I can only hope the fruit trees will show some fruit this year.
Well my friends have a great week and remember Mercury is coming out of Retrograde this week and a lot of the negative things will disappear. Let us pray for the victims of floods and tornado's in the Mid West. We have a lot to be thankful for.

HAPPY EASTER - SPRING RENEWAL

This is Easter week and many will celebrate and others will just eat chocolate bunnies and eggs and laugh and play.
Whatever your belief this is a time for renewal, it is Springtime, new beginnings and rejoicing.
These are my Easter treasures and it is so nice to leave the dreary winter behind.
My arm is healing but I did find the radiation affected one side of the arm much harder than the other. Where I put the oil religiously -Lavender- hardly any burn, where I did not a large burn area with swelling.
I am thankful that the disease can be stopped in its tracks and I will eventually return to a normal life that includes activity and fun.
I read this week of a lady with cancer, who seems to be in remission or at least not that active anymore, who had this dreaded disease come upon her 9 years ago. Well she fought thru it and conquered. Unfortunately she is holding resentments from 9 years ago. She is bitter and cannot let it go that a lot of her family did not rally around her in the hospital, or travel to see her. She has seen counselors but has no resolution. This is so sad as that dear soul has a choice to forgive or hold onto her angst. The relatives may have been wrong but one cannot hope to be happy and well when hanging on to resentments for that long.
It is not always easy to forgive but we are so much happier and healthier when we do.
We can even find joy in that act and pass it on. Bringing this up all the time only alienates the family more. I felt sorry for her but can only hope she realizes it is in her power to forgive and forget.
Often when cancer strikes a family, many friends and family members turn away. They cannot handle it and often react in very negative ways. This is not uncommon and I am sure nearly every cancer patient has had this experience. I would love to hear from you if it happened to you. Yes it happened to me but I just did not take much notice. As a nurse I have seen it in the extreme where husbands left their wife and little children, while the wife was in the hospital. God loves us all and forgives and we can take his healing spirit and do the same for others.
Have a happy Easter!!!!

Spring! Yes. Why Things Go Wrong

I am so happy to see some sunshine, a bit of warmth would be great.
Daffodils are blooming and soon the tulips, Trees are budding!
We have beautiful ponds and the water is dissapearing so we have to figure out why. We have had tons of rain and our groundwater is usually at high level. We have a wonderful array of wild geese, ducks and other water birds. We also do not want to have huge ugly holes in the ground and no water. We have beautiful waterfalls and even they are affected by the lowered water level.
I also have finished my radiation, and other than a burn on the arm am doing better; putting Lavender oil on the burn really helps and reduces the reddened area. I also take Ioderal to remove the excess radiation. What is not commonly known, radiation is cumulative, it keeps on working even after the radiation is stopped. I waited a week then it is time to rid the body of excess radiation that will not help me.
Every wonder why things seem to go wrong all at the same time. The car dies, the freezer breaks, and a lot of small inconveniences come down on you. We are ruled by the planets and they do affect how we feel and how much energy that can be negative, comes into our lives.
From March 30th 2011 to April 23rd 2011, Mercury will go Retrograde. This affects us more than we know, it can cause us to have things be out of sinc and we wonder why. I try not to make any big decisions in this period and not to travel. It does not mean we all will have something go wrong but if you are away of what is happening, you can take a deep breath and figure out why things are not working out. You and your family may see more disruption with each other at this time, take a moment to say wow! I will take a step back.
This can be a quiet time to meditate and contemplate where you are going in life. It is a good time to finish projects started and not taken to the end. You do not have to run and hide but understanding this time, we can help ourselves and family.
Have a great week.

Fellow MM Journey-Persons and Spring

Wisteria a lovely Spring flower but unfortunately not in this cold climate, this is my friends garden in CA. Does not like our colder climate.
Another week flown by and only one more radiation treatment on Monday, the evil Multiple Myeloma has been sent back to jail and I hope it stays behind lock and key. This radiation has not been too bad and I did not have to take the steroids. A slight radiation burn but Young Living Lavender has taken care of that. I apply it daily after treatment. The doctor told me that if something is added before treatment the radiation is more intense.
I still have my fractured radius but the pain is waaaay less. I have been reading my fellow Multiple Myeloma suffers blogs. Not everyone is having as easy as me. This disease is so insidious and so little is known about it.
Don't forget to visit my WEBSITE www.healingcancernaturally.net
Now this week Geraldine Ferraro passed on due to this disease, in many papers they said a "blood Cancer". Why because very few people know what this disease is all about. She fought it for 13 years which is pretty good. The life expectancy of MM patients used to be 3 years, with better diagnosis and some updated treatments, this life span has been greatly extended.

In my opinion, the hardest part of Multiple Myeloma, is getting a correct diagnosis. Often the doctors tell you that you are imagining this horrendous pain, or that it is a back problem, go take some advil. In many case, like mine, there are no or hardly any blood markers that show the disease is in you, thus you have to be nearly dead before they discover what is wrong with you.
I am what they call a non-secretor, which means that nothing shows up, till too late in the blood. Bone marrow tests are the only way, and in many cases they need to have one to show the disease really is present.
Many doctors have never been exposed to this disease and thus they just have an "off hand" manner is treating the ill. As the awareness increases, of this disease, the medical profession is waking up to the fact that for some reason this disease is spreading to a new group of subjects, namely young people.
This used to be a disease of 60 and over males and mostly of African American descent, not so anymore, young, old, women men are now showing up with this dreaded disease.
There is so much one can do to help oneself, this disease will return, so you have to start a daily regime of healthy living and strong supplements, to keep it away. Stem cell transplants, when they work, seem to give the younger patients, a much needed boost. The drugs help but are not the answer, so until they come up with a better plan it is best to be diligent in your own health and welfare.
Spring has finally arrived today, but tomorrow rain and cold, phew at least we had a couple of sunny days. My garden is calling, but need help to get it fixed, this one hand world is not working. WEll my friends I hope you see some lovely weather this weekend and be thankful for what you have.

Other Worldy Experiences and Putting things into Perspective.

Here is the most amazing picture taken by Oleg Bartunov of Russia. He was visiting near Mt Everest and could not believe his eyes. Ice Crystals in the clouds with the sun at the right angle. He described it as an amazing outer worldy experience and let himself be engulfed with its beauty. It is a very rare occurrence and very few people have seen such a magnificent sight. Of course you are in the sacred mountains of Tibet!
This is what We need on a daily basis, to keep us grounded and focusing on how we can help ourselves and others. Seeing a natural wonder like this must have been amazing. The photographer was overcome with emotion and feelings of well being, along with a group of tourist at the same location.
As I go through my weekly radiation again, this is something I can meditate on and imagine the beauty of, and put these colors into my body to help with healing.
I am going through 3weeks of radiation on my arm and expect it to be healed in the next couple of months.
One interesting fact that care from my doctors visit yesterday, was the fact the radiation dept is now using Holistic ointments to lessen the effect of radiation burns and sooth the skin during treatment. Now that is progress, small as it is, it is still progress. The name of the lotion is Calendula Gel from the flower and made by Boiron. I also use essential oils, Frankincense, Lavender, Orange, Clove, Abundance. These you put on post daily treatment and on non treatment days, when you arise.
Life in these troubling times needs all the help we can give our bodies. We feel the sadness from the Japan Tsunami and Earthquake, and see those poor souls suffering, a daily prayer for them will help us as well as them.
May you have a good week and remember to be kind to yourselves.

The Ebb and Flow of Life - Reality Check- The Gift

Spring is coming! The bulbs are peeking through the earth waiting to show their finery. I love Spring. The flowers do it for me. Have lots of bulbs so hope they all bloom.
One never knows what is around the corner. Daffodils are a symbol of healing for me as when I first discovered I had Multiple Myeloma, I told the doctors that when the daffodils bloomed I would be better. That is the way it happened.
I had another relapse in May of 2009 and by August was again cancer free.
We just went on a wonderful road trip and the whole time I complained of a sore forearm. I suspected that little evil creature - MM - had returned but was not quite sure. I finally had to go and have an x-ray and yes my radius fractured. This came about before I left and I ran into a door but thought no more of it. That nasty little MM had activated and that is where the break occurred. I call the break a gift from God. I do not have symptoms of MM until too late, and I am nearly dead. It is called Non secretory MM and only about 5% of the 1 % mm patients have this it is rare.
Sooo if I did not fracture my arm it probably would have been too late to get treatment. As I have never had Chemotherapy, I have to decide what is best for me. Short compact radiation to the zone, and it should again be gone. As MM never really goes away just goes dormant, we have to be extra careful on how we live, eat and breathe.
I thought I was doing all the things I mention on my website and blog but when I recall the last 5 months I was very careless over taking my supplements on a daily basis. So hopefully lesson learned. I was skating along and now I have been reminded if I wish to stay healthy and alive, I must practice all that I preach, and be especially careful of guarding my body against further insults from the Myeloma.
The doctors are optimistic and also agree my supplements are one of the main reasons I keep my MM from getting away from me.
I have seen a big difference just in the last week, once I saturated my body with the natural supplements. Radiation was slow in getting started due to technical problems at the hospital.
For me the clues of the MM being active are unusual weight gain (I do not overeat and have been eating salads, vegies etc, very little sugar or sweet.) Little nodules that look like baby warts appearing on my arms, legs and body. Last out break the dermatologist told me these were a sign of cancer starting in the body. So you see I had warning and chose to ignore it for a while. No one likes bad news but ignoring it is worse. So will keep you posted on my progress. I am confident in 3 months I will again be MM free or at least tame the beast back into its box. So what I have been expounding is especially true.
Take care all and be well.

Be Thankful Each Day.Family & Pets need our help!

It is a cold wintry day but the orchid says spring is almost here. Soon robins will be flocking about and little birds diveboming us when we go out the front door. I can't wait.
I am seeing my daffodils and tulips pop their heads out of the ground, what a wonderful time Spring is.
Each day I am reminded how fleeting and fast life on this planet is. I want us to be thankful for what we have. We can always find someone who is in a worse position. Lately a lot of sickness and death among humans and animals.
Healthwise, we all struggle but it is our attitude that counts. If we believe we can overcome, then we can. Meditation and prayer should be our daily watch Words.
I was out and about and several people wanted to know why I smelled so good. I had applied essential oils (these are made from plants, trees and shrubs) and do not like the chemical perfumes. Not only does one smell wonderful it gives your body a lift. People notice and they smile when they ask you what you are wearing. Something as simple as that can affect those near you.
The chemicals in our shampoo, toothpaste, perfume, deodorant are killing us. I use natural Lavender Shampoo, I use peppermint deodorant, cornstarch for body powder, and avoid toxic substances as much as possible.
I clean the house with baking soda for scrubbing, add Lemon Oil to my floor washing water, make a mixture of vinegar, ammonia, and soap to clean the windows and blinds. Staying healthy takes work.
I love the essential oils. Lavender on your pillow to sleep, peppermint for an upset stomach, and Lavender and peppermint help reduce pain.
These things I am thankful for.
What did we use before all the modern things were invented.
We are told only give your dog "dog food" What do you think dogs ate before dog food was invented. Raw meat, grains and bones. Human table food has become very contaminated so unless you have natural or organic food it may be wise to make your own dog food. So be thankful for you family, friends and Pets, they all bring us Joy and love. Yes we all have that one or two in our lives who make it harder but that is what thankfulness is all about. A chance to overlook the negative and concentrate on the positive.

Sunny Days can turn into Restful Nights

Sunny, warmer day, Finally! Certainly lifts the spirits. Can't you just see yourself in the hammock, relaxing and listening to the wave. Here is a great way to meditate. See yourself swinging in the calm warm breezes in paradise. See all your illness and cancer gone. Do this daily it will help.
Staying upbeat in the world of turmoil is not easy. There is so much coming at us each day. I love pictures and serenity so I use them as much as possible. Young Living Lavender oil placed on your pillow at night, enhances the sleep and relaxes you. It is also wonderful for minor burns, insect bites and much more. Calms you when you have a headache. We could all sleep in the hammock and have a great night.
I hardly read the paper or watch the news as I read or see enough, just to know what is going on, and cannot dwell on the negative.
There is always someone worse off than yourself. So if you have lost your job or cannot work due to illness, find what is positive about your situation. Meditation and soothing essential oils are wonderful.
Today a well respected doctor, who has his own line of natural skin care products etc, told how he went to a major conference and the big companies are now turning to natural products to help replace all their chemicals. They looked up his patents and copied what they could without infringing. So the positive news is there is a shift and all of us who meditate and pray, are having an effect by removing some of the negative things that big chemical and drug companies are doing.
So sleep well in your paradise this week and soak up some sun.

Reality, Cold Weather and Healing Rocks

Hello my friends, hope you have been doing well these last 3 weeks. I have been jaunting around to get some sunshine, and it worked very well.
I am now back in the cold, with a slight snowfall overnight. Even 60 deg is warm compared to the 30's here in Idaho. However it is nice to be back into a calm serene place. The big cities are so hectic. I have not been to Sedona since the mid 80's and hardly recognized the place.
The great feeling is still there when you get away from the crowd. We were fortunate to get into a canyon where few people are allowed, sit and take in the sunshine, the healing red rocks, and imagine the original inhabitants that once lived there. It is so serene and one gets out of it what one desires. Lots of other tourists scurrying around buying things and shopping but to go out a bit a see the beauty is wonderful. We went to the town of Jerome, an old mining town and old native Indian habitat.
These troubling times have people on edge but if we take the time to meditate, and see a positive out come, forgiving those that oppress the masses and manipulate them, then we become one mind that can have a calming effect on the world. This is not easy but takes practice with meditation and reflection.
I am trying to practice what I preach and one feels decidedly better for it.
I am praying for my friend Feresaknit who has a blog and not doing so well, maybe you could join me in praying for her recovery. She, Like me, suffers from Multiple Myeloma, and while I am blessed to be in remission she is going through a dark period. She lives in the UK.
I have some new things to put out to you later next week and hopefully they can help those who are struggling with faith, disease, pain and loss of someone they love.
At this time a lot of people are passing on, and it seems the dogs are too, I think it comes in cycles.
So have a blessed weekend and be safe.

Low Dose Chemo Combined with Natural. Ducks again!

My goal is to teach the natural healing ways to those who have cancer or other severe illnesses. However, there is a place for chemotherapy and radiation. I have been doing some reading on this subject, and not everyone responds to all natural healing, no matter how hard they try.
There have been several studies Showing that a low dose chemo, along with supplements can greatly improve your chances. There is a form of therapy called IPT where they give insulin before the low dose chemotherapy, this allow the cell to let the chemo inside. Cancer cells have a hard coating around them. Cancer cells suck up huge amounts of insulin, so giving extra insulin, this will convert glucose into energy, thus making the cell more permeable, allowing the chemotherapy to enter the cell more easily, thus killing it. I will expound on this later on but this is just a hint of how we can educate our doctors to a new view of how best to treat us, instead of killing of all the healthy cells, in an effort to kill the cancer.
Nutritional supplements and anticancer supplements, are vital to the building up of the immune system, which is a large portion of healing, but often more is needed.
I have recently posted here and on my website www.healingcancernaturally.net , about the importance of keeping the pH in a alkaline state. I have already heard from one of my followers, that she is much improved after taking 3 days of Alkaline salts, and boosting her pH to almost normal.
There are so many simple things we can do to help ourselves, it is amazing how simple things can improve our health.
DUCKS: Here is "Daffy & Ducky" before the snow and ice, hoofing it across the lawn, our third duck, who looks like a turkey and has some people thinking it is, is also around. They are trying to get back with the geese, a couple of hundred geese flew in and spent the night and the ducks were in the middle, it was kind of weird, then "Daffy" took off with them for the day but did return, much to our relief. We have this beautiful white goose, with a black neck I am hoping to get a picture but it is not easy. "Daffy" has taken to flying around the neighborhood. For some reason I do not think "Ducky" can fly and big fat turkey duck may but fortunately does not seem to want to.
It is very healing to look and interact with nature as it calms the soul. Have a good week, will not be able to post for a while but will catch up when I return.

Flowers, Pain Relief with Essential Oil and Prayer

These are a form of lily from Hawaii, they are so beautiful this picture does not does them justice. This represents How I feel after removing some severe pain from my life .
I hurt my shoulder in October and then I began to have severe back spasms, I had several massages and treatments, it would reduce for a while then return. About 30 days ago I decided to help my husband clear the driveway of ice. Hmmm.. not a good decision. I have a permanently bent spine with a lot of vertebrae missing, but I do my best to keep active, I also cannot stand up unless I am holding onto something. The "something" was a shovel. I cut the ice while my husband ran the snow blower, it was quite effective but took 2 hours. I did not feel any pain or discomfort till 2-3 days later and I had intense back, arm and side spasm which required medication..I had massage, used essential oils, had an acupuncture treatment and maybe 30% continuous relief. I was using the basil herb oil and it helped but it was not until i added Palo Santo, from Young living, that the pain went away. It took 2 days and as long as I use a little oil before going to bed, on the bad area, I am pain free. It is like a miracle. The Palo Santo oil stops the severe spasms. I will put a little blurb about this below. I sell oils from my website but at this time only have 2 items up. As I cannot ship till the end of the month I HAVE REFRAINED from adding more. These oils are absolutely marvelous. Today I received 3 emails from people who had burnt themselves while cooking, and rather severely I may add, they applied the lavender oil and with in 20 minutes pain reduced, 2 days later no sign of burn, one lady had blisters, that were reduced and went away in several days and relived the pain.
until you start experimenting with these oils, you cannot believe how wonderful they are. There are many oils out there that are less expensive, these oils are pure and the crops they come from are raised without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. There is a huge difference. Just imagine the food we eat how contaminated it gets. A drop of lemon oil in the cooking or the water helps remove some of the chemicals we daily come across. It also helps digestion, along with peppermint. Peppermint can settle an upset stomach.
Flowers also give peace and calm as well as there are many used to heal and produce products we need.
Today my husband needed surgery, and much to my amazement the doctor asked if he could pray before the operation, we said certainly. He told us, and yes we already are very aware of this, that praying over a patient helps heal them faster, have less infection and less future problems. This is a subject I will post more on in my website. I have used prayer all my life to get me through the worst times. It certainly does help. 5 hours later my husband has not taken a pain pill and seems quite comfortable. He should be hurting but is not.
One does not have to have a religion to pray, a simple pray of thanksgiving or ask for help, will bring comfort and relief. The "Lords Prayer" is a simple but effective prayer for those who think they cannot pray.
No this is not about religion but about using our own power within to heal. Blessings on you all.

Ducks and Other Things and More on the pH healing

Blogs everywhere and sometimes we just need to have a little story of a personal nature. It is good to share much needed information but today I am going to tell you a story about ducks.

In June, we returned from and extended trip to find "Ducky", the light duck. living in our yard. All the neighbors asked when did you buy a duck? We said we did not buy a duck and had no idea where it came from. Our yard looks over a huge pond, and we have several where we live. It was a young duck.
The duck was lonely and earlier in the spring, the wild geese had hatched a bunch of goslings, 7 in all. The parents of the goslings were teaching them to survive and so "Ducky" latched onto the group but was kept at a distance. When the parents left each day the goslings, who were now rather big and almost full grown geese, would huddle together, they begrudgingly let "Ducky" stay near them but not in the group. One day the now grown geese flew away and there was poor "Ducky" alone again. My husband felt sorry for him so we went to a duck farm and purchased a lovely duck mate. The duck farmer said they do not fly as they as used to staying in his yard with no clipped wings. We brought the duck home and about 1 hour later it flew away. HA! so much for not flying.
At the same time another neighbor has the same idea, she sent her husband to buy ducks and he came back with 3. They lasted about 2 hours and flew away. We never knew where they went. So a few days later we went to the duck farm and asked him to clip the wings of the duck so it would not fly away, He gave us an extra duck. So now there were 3. They did not fly away.
Together our little group fed them a lot of grain and now they are too fat to fly. Unfortunately in this last icy cold spell, the top white and black duck, she passed on. We have no idea why but I think she was caught in the ice. She was the latest addition to our menagerie and was rather young. We made a winter shelter with straw lining it, among the reeds for the ducks and it was working out rather well. Now they hover near our house and will not go back to their little home. I think the ice has something to do with the demise of the young one. They watched us closely as we pullout the deceased duck. They would not leave the area for days. The pond, where their hut is, has ice still so I am hoping when it melts they will return to their little home. We had 3 days of heavy rain and yesterday I saw them all coming toward the house, and figured they were hungry for the grain we fed them. They still have plenty of natural food when the pond is not frozen. So I just walked out and they followed me until I put grain down they gobbled up.
This is an ongoing saga and it will be interesting to see what happens when the geese return to nest.
Now on a different subject, the balancing of the pH is so important to maintain good health. One can use simple remedies like fresh lemon juice in water and purchasing alkaline salts. I use cobalt blue bottles to sit in the sun (Make sure it is not freezing outside or they will break) and use the water to put my lemon juice in. It actually amplifies the healing properties of the pH. I also have discovered that fungus is a major cause of imbalance and will speak on that later.
I hope you are all having a good week and blessings and healing on all.
I have new input on my website at www.healingcancernaturally.net
