That is severe nerve pain from the side effects of the chemotherapy. Someone posted this information. Her doctor gave her METANX it is a combination of Vitamin B's. Folic Acid, B6 and B12. These are the vitamins that take care of the nerves. It has been helping many people.
The B Vitamins are known for coating the nerves themselves, thus reducing the pain. No it is not a pain medication per se, but it has a similar effect.
