New Year, New thoughts and Apology for ignoring this blog post.

Well I was thinking of moving this blog and now they have changed the format I might. Can no longer upload images from my own files, how crazy is that.  The times are a changing and I am not liking the changes.
Anyway Happy 2014.  I am sure you have all had problems to overcome and trust you are all improving.  My journey has be n ok and sometimes very good.  We have only been on little side trips and mostly at home, due to health issues for myself and husband.
I had a set back in June but then after radiation, MM went silent for a while.  I have been blessed with feeling mostly really well.
I had a big event in October where I was well enough to take a major journey with a girlfriend.  We went to New York City and lived it up.  This was like a tonic for me, as I have not done much for myself, in the way of exciting things, in years.  We went to a special event and fashion show, at the store of Carolyn Herrera, the famous fashion designer.  It was awesome. To make it even better Nina Garcia, the main judge on Project Runway was the mc and we all had a lovely time meeting her. She is just as she seems with no artificial airs or graces.  The real Nina is what you see on TV.
We also had dinners out each evening and I met a new friend, Debbie, whom I knew from online.  Her dad Has MM also but what a charming young lady.
We ate at the Gramercy Tavern and it was an awesome experience.  2+ hour luncheon with a tasting menu that 2 of us could not finish. I give it 5 stars.
I would have posted the pics but the new concept here does not allow me to get to them.
I stayed well and we even had time to go to the Metropolitan museum.  For this I was very grateful.
My sister in Law passed in October so we went to Los Angeles for the service.  Trouble was Pepperdine Uni was not up to snuff on getting people around (Service was held there as she was a member of their church)  I hurt my side and still do not know what happened I had a60+ steps to get up and I do not know how I did it, disaster and I am paying for it now.
We like most of the country have been in the freezer for 2+ MONTHS, forget fall, we went into winter and it has not been easy.  Today we are having a heat wave at 45Deg F.
I have tried different new products to help with the cancer and there is a Dr Sircus from South America, who introduced me to Magnesium water, his special concoction, made with the help of a chemist who holds a nobel prize.  It keeps the body in the correct pH balance.  I had some problems with it at first, as I have a chemical imbalance (genetic) which cause my lymp nodes to shut down and swell, I am happy to report, I now take more of the water and my lymp system is being managed with Young Living oils.  Rubbing on Tangerine, Cypress and Lemongrass, twice daily, on the lymp nodes has made a huge difference.
I have had some severe pain lately and although my blood work shows almost normal, not sure what is going on.  As the bones are destroyed from the Multiple Myeloma, it is hard to get them back to working again. I pray the disease is on hold and that only the bones are causing the pain.
I have met so many people like myself, who struggle each day to stay alive, we all have the same happy positive outlook, despite the pain and suffering
IO want to update my website but need help doing so. My brain slipped a bit the last few months so now I am trying to do things to pump myself up and be more brain active.
I started physical therapy, at the hospital, but 2 hours later was in the ER with a fractured spine.  So I guess my bones are brittle.  I have a nice brace on and it does help.
I will try and keep you updated, as many things have changed in the MM treatments and natural treatments..  I can highly recommend the water from Dr Sircus

Summer Sunsets and Random Acts of Kindness

This is the Tranquil lake outside our door. Beautiful summer evening.  The heat finally came in full force, 112 deg F was our hottest day.  Stayed up for a week or so just enough to start the fire season then, in high 90's now slightly cooler.  Our ducks have decamped to our neighbors pond.  They bought a group of ducks, and our ducks decided that was more fun over there.  They turn up every now and then, to gobble feed.
I think in winter they may turn up as they get fed rather frequently.

I just read several amazing stories of passing on good deeds.  A gentleman was at the airport check-in counter and the CC would not go thru for the baggage.  His card was not overdrawn it just had a problem. He left the line and came back a short time later to try again and good Samaritan had paid his baggage fee, and left a note, saying pass it on. The man was astonished and will do his bit to pass it on.
Another story was a man at 3 am buying groceries and food for his family, the amount was too much and he only had a little money on his card,. The man started putting items back and trying to find out which were the most important to take home, a stranger gave him $100 to buy the necessities, the giver said the man dropped to his knees and hugged him saying how it would help his family.
These group of people go around and help others at their own expense.  What a lovely thing to see, as the greed and avarice of many abound, including our leaders.
Once when we were dining in a coffee shop last summer, an obviously needy soul was hugging a cup of water.  I asked the server why he did not eat, she said he could not afford it. They would let him come in to rest up.  We paid for a full meal and he never knew who we were.  These should be daily things, as we that are given much, need to show kindness.
One  does not have to be wealthy, just go without something yourself to help others.
I am so grateful to God For helping me heal again.  We cannot thank him enough for seeing us through all these trials.
I am not perfect but much better than when I last wrote.
I contracted the 'flu 10 days ago, and while I started on the antibiotics, as my immune system is kaput from the recent radiation, I only took 4 days of pills.  I could tell the pills were giving me another kind of infection.  I started taking Young Living Immune defense capsule.  My chest is 98% clear and I did not have to take a full dose of antibiotics.
These capsules are made from a group of essential oils that charge up the immune system.  I also used the thieves oil in Capsules and rubbed on T Tree and Melalucca oil.  Nothing like natural things to heal you.
I am taking large doses of my Polymva again and also drinking my special Magnesium Bicarbonate water.  This came from De Sircus of Brazil, who knows if you keep the pH balance of the body correct, it is hard for the cancer cells to grow.
Have a good week and blessings to all :)

How Wonderful to Be Alive and Enjoying All around Us

A Wonderful underwater video.
                                          http://www.youtube.com/embed/mcbHKAWIk3I

Hello My friends:   Trust your month has gone well.  A lazy cool summer here so far. I have posted a wonderful video on the undersea world.  Life is so tenuous for many at this time so something calming is good for the soul.
Bobbi if you are reading this I sent you an email but did not hear back from you.  Look in your spam folder under preferred customer.  I hope your husband is improving.  You can also read my website www.healingcancernatural.net
I am recovering nicely from my last bout with MM (multiple myeloma) with 11 radiations to spine and iliac crest.  Took away the terrible pain, now sailing along again.  I upped my polymva and added the Reshi. Mitaki, Shitake mushrooms along with some magnesium bicarbonate.  The big dose is still on its way.  Healthy living with fresh veggie juices, salads etc.  A lovely salad of lettuce, grated carrot strips, zucchini strips, berries, apples and pears freshly chopped (organic) with a boiled egg topping.  Yummy dressing and you have a complete meal.
Garden has produced its first tomato, the unexpected cold spell took out lots of already thriving vegies plus our fruit.  The local area has large Cherrie orchards and they did not get hardly a cherry, after the big cold event.
AT this time many are leaving us, some by their own hand and others from accidents and illness.  It is a trying time for those loosing loved ones, seeing so much suffering has had people asking where is God (or whomever wyou believe in) at this time. He is still with us and we must keep our faith and know we are loved and our hearts cleansed.  Take care and have a wonderful July :)

Summertime and healthy living!

You may wonder what this symbol means, it is from a sacred cave in New Mexico I am told where lots of mysterious things we found.  I have lots of these pictures and I love them.  Color really speaks to me.
I apologize for not blogging for a long time. I just got wound up in every day life and then the technology age caught up with me.  This computer was in the shop for a week and I am still having problems.  My laptop is toast my wifi hit the deck, but they are just excuses.

I hope you are all doing well. My is a tale to come.  There has been much unrest in the air with many natural disasters and some not so natural.  We will not dwell on there here except to say prayers and love to all who lost loved ones in the various incidents.  It is hard on us who are left behind here.  There is only one consolation, they are in  a much better place.
My week has been very busy with doctors etc.  Unfortunately I had a relapse of my MM.  I am still good, looking good etc.  My only complaint I was noticing some sciatica pain.  It became gradually worse with numbness in my groin.  I thought I had a bowel problem and the specialist explained why it could not be the bowel.
This all started about 5 weeks ago.  The various doctors were puzzled as my labs no increase in disease by blood work and other than the pain just seemed the same.  I must admit the pain became severe and I am finally off strong pain medicine.  The original 'bad' spots from my myeloma were throughout my body, brain and skull.  However the worst ones were on my lumbar spine and my iliac bone.  These 2 spots were now causing the pain and MM had resurfaced.  It is a devilish disease. Yes because I appeared to be doing so well I cut down my natural supplements.  I have come to realize this devlish disease likes to trick you.  So now I have  rammped up on PolyMva and curcumin, Minerals and vitamins.
I met a new doctor who resides in S America?  I think.  He has some wonderful new natural treatments.  His rĂ©gime for  is intense, but as I already do many of his suggestions, I just added some special ones.  He is saying Magnesium is vital in helping cancer.  Keeping the ph in body and stomach in alkaline condition, using digestive enzymes and natural foods, strict diet, adding special Magnesium bicarb capsules and interesting enuf, selenium.  I am adding his Magnesium Ideas and selenium.  Klaire labs has a formula called Bi-carb Formula, which is touted me on and so I bought a bottle of capsules.  Eat a lot of raw food, fresh homemade vegetable juices etc.
So will be able to let you know how I do.
My pain was extreme and I agreed to 10 mild xray treatments, which has lowered the pain considerably, one more to go.  My body is not strong in the bone area and this was a risky choice, but I guarantee the pain can kill you.
There is so much to be thankful for and I send good tidings to you.  I know this is a setback but that is all it is.  I will overcome and with God's help be guided thru this.
I am blessed with a wonderful husband who truly takes wonderful care of me.
Will keep this up on a regular basis.
I have invested in a Neat desk scanner and that is a couple of weeks work.  I started out telling you about my technical problems, well they keep coming. 6 months ago I purchased A HP scanner fax etc, it totally trashed itself yesterday.  I now own an Epsom.  It was an expensive blow up as I could not find my receipt. (Who throws receipts for big items away, not me) My messed up memory has put it somewhere odd. Had to bite the bullet on this.  It was nearly 50% off so that helped.
Take care all and be blessed.:)

The Wonder Of healing thru Animals

The wonder of pets who help us heal.  This balloon shot was one taken years ago when we first had our dog Monty, he went berserk one morning and as we came outside we saw why, a balloon had landed in our pasture.  Dogs hate the sound of hot air balloons.

This same semi wild rescue dog, blue healer lab, became our constant companion, enjoying a life of luxury and running the hills.  He later became my guardian when I was so ill I could hardly get out of bed.  Each instance of my downward spiral, was accompanied by this dog sitting by my bed day and night.  He is gone now but what a loving caring dog he was. I am sure he would be happy to know how well I am doing.  He was abandoned from a farm and went miles each day looking for food.  Eventually the farm neighbors took him to the shelter where I found him.  He was an ungainly dog with huge feet.  The shelter said he was 4 months old but he really was 7 months old.  No one wanted him as he was going to be rather large.  There were much cuter dogs.
He suffered bleeding bowel for 6 months and was agitated, unfriendly to strangers and did not like close contact.  He was very opinionated.  We once went on a trip, for a couple of weeks, and when we came home and he came back from the kennel, he was upset.  We had a golf cart to run on our acreage, and my husband and Monty dog, went everywhere together.  Well we had locked him in the garage while we went to breakfast.  (He was a bad boy following us in the car if we did not lock him up) When we arrived home he had destroyed the seat in the golf cart.  Now did he destroy his seat, oh no, he destroyed my husbands seat.   Over the years he mellowed and we got him another companion named Boots.  She was the exact opposite , fearful and wanting to be cuddled.  (She was abandoned on the street near us and we took her in)
These dogs gave us so much love it impossible to say the impact on our lives.  We had them stay in garage at night with a doggie door and it was warm and cozy and cool in the summer.  Occasionally they were allowed in side, and then they wormed their way in more so we set up special beds for them in the living room.  They were not allowed on the carpet-we had plenty of wood floors.
When I took so ill my husband often closed the bedroom door, one evening Monty decided he had taken enuf of closed doors.  He came and laid by my side of the bed.  We felt so bad we made a bed for him.  In the day they would sometimes go outside but come pm, there he was (I was extremely ill the first winter) .  He never left till I got considerably better.  Boots was extremely caring also but showed it in a different way.
Over the years I had a few very bad relapses and there the dog would be by the bed. Boots cared in a different way.  What a balm it was to my tortured soul (pain does that) to have someone to watch over me.  He held a special place in my heart.
I was feeling much better and we went on a vacation; by this time we had a loving family we left the dogs with (I think they thought it was a second home) .  When the dogs arrived hone, upon our return, I was horrified to see his back flank, nothing but a raw opening with no fur.  The wonderful family could do nothing to stop him biting the area.  The mystery was later solved when a couple of weeks later we had a visitor who was psychic, and he and the dog, had a chat.  Poor Monty thought I had died as I was away for 10 days, and somehow I had not conveyed to him I would return.  He told my friend he would not bit himself anymore. I was in tears..
One does not really know how animals handle grief. After that I was careful to tell the dogs we were coming back.  Both dogs passed in 2011.  They could not live without each other.
I have just finished reading about a dog named Cleo short for Cleopatra.  Written by a New Zealand lady who lost a son age 9, in an accident.  Her grief knew no bounds.  The cat coming to the house was a miracle.  A short while before he passed the boy told his mother something that led me to believe he knew he was not going to live long.  He had gone to choose a cat and it was the runt of the litter. It could not come home as it was too small.  Much to the mothers dismay, the lady with the cat turned up 6 weeks later and did not know she had lost her son.  However she had another son, who when he saw the cat would not let it go.  He used to tell his mother the cat spoke with him and gave him messages from his brother.  They had the cat 23 years and many miracles of healing took place, directly connected to the cat.
Many of you who are ill have your pets, who provide you comfort.  My friend Maryann had her dog almost taken from her recently.  A coyote savaged the dog.  Everyone wanted to put it down, she persevered.  Now the dog is recovering rather nicely and she has her companion back again.  She too has a serious illness but that dog knew she could not stand for it to depart and kept himself here for her.
My other dear friend Paula, who passed on a year ago, had a wonderful dog Buddy who gave her much love and pleasure in her terrible pain.  Unfortunately I have not heard how they are doing but I know that dog was devoted to her.
Animals give us unconditional love. Love is a very healing element in our lives.  We long for comfort in our pain and sorrow..they offer themselves freely.
I will not have anymore animals but I cherish the bond I had with Monty.  (My health does not allow me to mentor another dog)  We need to treat our friends and loved ones as the sacred animals treat us.  Do not underestimate their power to heal.
The hospitals and homes who have dogs visit know the healing power.  The children's hospital often have stories of great bonds for the animals and children in helping them with their recovery.
I thank God everyday for my healing and being able to experience such a wonderful bond with one of his creatures.  Many blessings to all!

Spring is Here and New era dawning for me!

We are blessed with another spring and another year I am thankful to be still here.  Had a great 2012 with my supplements sustaining me.  I only had 9 weeks of sub-Q chemotherapy in the 9 years I have had this disease.  My supplements are seeing me through and I am very grateful.  Only a tiny % of MM is showing.  My labs are almost normal again.  I am feeling great and accomplishing more.
I realize how far I slipped with my bouts of active MM and now I am more clear headed, have so much to catch up on.

I am greatly favoured with my health and thank God for his healing hand.  I have enjoyed trips and visits and now feeling JOY again in my life.  It is sometimes hard to explain that you are happy but don't have that zing for life you once did.  I want to start my garden but need help.  We are going to plant vegies so we do not have to suffer thru the pesticides and GMO that people put in our food.  The growing time here is limited so will do the best we can.  You also have to be careful of the plants and seeds you put in the ground.  If they have been altered the same will happen, poison one's food.

I love my flower garden and need inspiration to get it going.  The daffodils are almost ready to bloom.  My neighbors had some a couple of weeks ago but they have a direct sun spot that is not on our lot.  Most of the pictures here in my blog I took and mostly my own garden.  Happy Easter to all of you and may you find health as well as chocolate bunnies.
A reminder of something to stay healthy with.  Vitamin D Level needs to be checked to avoid the onset of disease and cancer.  A local doctor was faced with death and he started on his own anti cancer regime.  It worked for him when all the big cancer hospitals gave him up for dead.
Basics were healthy diet, no sugar or alcohol, rest and no stress. He took these supplements 4 times a day.  Pure brand mushroom mix  Reshi/Shitake/Mitake then Special Pure brand curcumin and Artimisinin.  So something simple can help you all.
I am trying to cook and plan meals more healthfully.  Simple meals like sauted fresh fist with Lemon oil salt and pepper, coleslaw salad and later a bowl of fresh fruit.  It is said apple is one of the few things one can eat with a meal and not interfere with the digestion.
Young Living Oils are special for me, a little more expensive than some, but pesticide and GMO free.  I use lemon oil to wash my wood floors and give a pleasant odor.  I also take a drop in a glass of water a couple of times a day.  If I am having nausea, I put 2 drops in a glass of water of the peppermint.  These are simple things but work very well.  Lavender and peppermint together can help pain.  Lavender can heal burns.
If we use our natural resources we can accomplish much.  Have a great Easter and blessings to all!

Healing Vacation and Tips for Aiding your Recovery

Our healing vacation began in February when we spent several glorious days in the sun and away from freezing temperatures.  We also enjoyed the benefits of really fresh food for our stay.  We went to the local farmers market and stored up on Papaya's, bananas and other delicacies. Yum !Huge limes, avacado's, fresh tomatoes, all grown locally.  Our hotel had a daily supply of fresh juices and fruits and freshly made food including locally caught fish.
If we could all live this way we would be better off.  I can't wait for spring and planting of our garden.
Hawaii has become very expensive so we made a lot of our own meals and shopping at the farmers market was a blessing.  I even bought local oils to rub on my bones.
Our local MD was telling us how he overcame his cancer.  Started in his prostate went to his bones. He had treatment but it did not work so he made his own formula.  He also was very careful of his diet and cut out sugar.  It is not easy but death or sugar is often an easy decision.
He took the following to help boost his system and knock out the cancer.  Artimisinin 4 caps daily, Pure Brand Curcumin 4 caps, and 4 caps of mushroom mix.  Reshi, Maitake and Reshi, Pure brand 4 caps.  Very rigid in taking it.  He is now cancer free.
What a simple thing and it worked for him.  This will assist in ridding the body of many diseases and aids cancer patients.  My friend in the 80's was taken severely ill, when an epidemic of Meningitis took over Hong Kong.  She was one of the few survivors, as a chinese doctor took over and fed her the Mushroom formula.
We are under a lot of stress this start of 2013.  Put your faith in a higher power and meditate.  Being stressed out will not help heal you.  Many are taking to illegal drugs but that is not the answer.
Picture yourself in a place like the one above, get in a hammock and meditate.  Will do a lot of good.
I am blessed with healing and pray for its continuance.    It is up to me to help myself heal.
Blessings to you all!

Positive Year ahead Amidst the Gloom

Happy New Year My Friends
I finally returned to my blog.  I had written one in December but it would not upload so I did not got back to fix it.  I hope things are going well and you all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas and New Year.
So much is happening in the world, it is hard to concentrate.  The negative happenings have taken hold of too many people who do not know how to cope and thus meltdown.  Corruption is everywhere from the highest in the country and on down.  God and belief in a higher power, has been thrown out the window by the masses.  We do not have to have a religion to believe in something bigger than ourselves.  That is the mistake that is being made.  I suggest meditation daily and looking into the good in the earth.  This picture I took, sums it up for me, So much beauty to behold and look away from the negative.
The healing of ourselves and others is also in the form of energy and belief. The events of December, the 8th , 11th, 21 st etc, were of a celestial nature and some have not occurred like this for thousands of years.  The magnetic field changed drastically and anyone not grounded properly, went over the edge. Fear driven beliefs make us ill.  I am happy to say I am much better, with my latest cancer markers the lowest they have been in several years. Plan to keep it that way.
Many souls are passing now as they cannot bear to be in this troubled world.  We will hold fast and do all we can to stay well.
There are new supplements and one by the company called PURE, has a new form of Curcumin that is healthier and works better than the previous capsules of powder.  It not only be used for cancer but for other ailments.  The mushroom family is also wonderful in healing, Shitake being one and several others.  My friend, 40 years ago, survived a massive outbreak of meningitis overseas, and an oriental doctor put her on a mushroom regime, she was one of the few who survived.
There is so many natural things available to us that we have gone so far away from what our grandparents used as normal healing things, and have replaced them with unneeded drug forms, touting the same things that natural does.
On Facebook today, I came across the cutest story.  A lady was in her yard and a lovely yellow lab came up to her, he looked tired but was well fed and had a collar.  She patted his head and talked with him.   When she went inside he followed her. Went over to a small rug and went to sleep.  About an hour later he wanted out.  Next day he was back and this went on for several weeks. He would come in lay on the rug and have a nap.  The lady finally attached a note to his collar and said" I want to know who owns this lovely dog, did you know he comes to my home every day and has an hours sleep on my rug, then leaves?"  Next time he came he had a note on him which read, " he comes from a home of 6 kids with 2 under 3 years, he is trying to catch up on his sleep.  She then added, "can I come with him tomorrow?"  Now how wonderful is that.  We need to seek the positive and encourage our friends and family to do the same.
Have a wonderful week and start the New Year right by being kind to yourself and someone else!

Healing for All

My dear friend Paula sent me the Myeloma Baby and I thought it appropriate to put Froggy in charge of saving us all. This is my take on what is happening around us.  I will be glad to see when all this posturing from all the candidates is over.  We need to heal the world and bring about peace and lessen suffering.
We are here as we chose to learn but it is overwhelming at times, especially to those of us who have not been well and are facing life threatening illness.  Then the parents and children suffering outrageous attacks on their person and the horror of suffering.
I am using my Young living oils to keep calm, help my pain, and pass on peace to to others. Daily meditation and prayer (if you are the praying kind) do wonders to make us feel better.
We just took a wonderful drive thru the Redwoods of California, We have not been there in years. How Majestic and peaceful it is and fills you with wonder.  There is so much to be thankful for and we can pass it on each day to others.
I am taking Stontium to heal my mangled bones, it helps calcium into ones bones at a faster rate, you cannot take Calcium and Magnesium at the same time, at least 6 hours apart.  This is so much better than the chemical offerings and no known side effects. I also added MSN with Glucosamine and Chondroiton. I have had a bad knee since I was a teenager and with this bone problem from the MM I am suffering knee pain again.  I have had 2 knee surgeries and hope never to have more, as it is still my parts in there.  My last knee surgery was in the 70's.
I am trying to do more things with laughter as that is a really good way to boost the immune system.
I laughed my way thru this.
The Velcade SubQ along with my Poly MVA and  other myriad supplements has me back on track and I have my next lot of tests in December.  I am feeling great and being active, and have been a bit slow in posting information.  I am still taking curcumin and Cold Liver oil (Carlson Brand) not as heavy as before.
It seems you never know what the day will bring, I pray for the people on the East Coast and hope they survive the coming storm. We need to meditate daily for the peace on our planet.  This also will increase healing of the earth as well as the people.
I am looking into lots of new things to add on our health. We can be sure the medical industry is not paying proper attention with all the mix ups of medicines and the problems that came recently.
Have a great week!

A New Start and Wonderful Healing

Here is a 'mob' of ducks who have become a family, they were fighting with each other then Gertrude, in the foreground, hatched 'baby' George, who is the biggest of the lot, you can just see his white neck at the back.   For some reason I guess they figured they need to clan up to protect him while he grew. So now they hang out together.  They have an occasional squabble but are unified.

That is how we should be with our family and friends, group together to give support.  I apologize for the writing delay but I have a had a busy summer.  This is what happens when your health improves 100%.  MY MM is still in my body but the new meds plus the natural supplements, have given me the most normal blood work I have had in years.  I have lost weight.  The weight was a symptom of the last  2 years of illness, once I improved I changed nothing and the weight came off.
I am thankful to God and man for my improvement.
I had 4 months of Velcade inject subcutaneous but not continuous.  4 weeks on then  2 off. I must say it worked very well for me.  At the beginning I had problems with the Velcade but after cutting the dose almost in half, I tolerated it extremely well and it gave the MM a solid kick.

I had the pleasure of have a few trips and enjoying them, Utah, Las Vegas, and the mountains of Idaho.
What a great experience to have no pain and actually enjoy my tripping about.Mountain air, new friends and lots of new experiences.  I am still taking my supplements but am off the Velcade for now and will be checked in 3 months.
Times are tough for everyone, even if you are not ill.  Have faith, meditate and if you so desire pray.
There is a lot a higher power can do for us all.   We have to keep the faith with all the bad energy flowing about.  Remember this is about choosing an honest person for the highest office in the land not about parties, or hanging on to old ways.  We need peace and calm throughout the world.

I have lots of positive feedback from people using the polymva.  Some are just using the polymva others are using with their chemotherapy, as it helps stop the side effects.
personally I have had the most minimum of discomfort from the Velcade (Which tends to aggravate the nerve endings causing neuropathy) I am fortunate only to have the tinest bit of it, which I put down to taking the Poly MVA at the same time.  I skipped it on the Velcade day but took it the next day.

I also noticed a rise in incidents of Multiple Myeloma and hope this can be stopped.  Such a nasty disease.
Here is my singing group this week and they sound wonderful.  I am sad my singing voice has gone but one day it may come back.  Take care and have a wonderful week:)

Getting Used to the "New World" finding some Humanity

Meeting a fellow traveler with the same disease was great, This young man is in complete remission.  His Stem cells transplants and tons of chemo therapy have put him in this happy place.  I pray for his complete recovery to stay with him.
This week, while traveling, (yes it is awesome to be well enough travel out for a few days) we listened to a story, fictional, called Vaccine Nation by David Lender, it put chills up my spine.  It quoted so many facts in this story you have to know that a large part of this actually happens.  This is about the rate of Autism in Children forced to receive government mandated vaccines, before they are allowed to go to school.  I have a neighbor who had a perfectly normal child till the age of 2, whom after many shots, developed autism. Proving this is next to impossible.  10 years ago the autism rate in children was 1 in 10,000 today it is 1 in 100 plus.   If this does not scare you it should.
Apparently the phama industry lobbied Congress to pass a law that removes them from being sued over the vaccines, and to show harm from them takes years of fighting.  The pharma industry has all the clout and the backing of congress.  You have to go before a "medical" committee to get anywhere and hope they are not paid off by the same industry.  Shocking! http://www.naturalnews.com/036499_Glaxo_whistleblower_bribery.html
I bring this up because today out it pops that GlaxoSmithKline pharmacetuicals was fined 3 Billion dollars in a fraud case, by selling mislabeled drugs, drugs to children that expressly forbid anyone under 18 taking them and huge kickbacks to doctors to write uneeded prescriptions for same.
I bet the 3 Billion was chicken feed when measured against 12 years of profiteering from this scheme.
What bothers me the most is why all of these people are not in jail.
Our society is falling apart, not just on election issues but on the people who are supposed to be leading us, who are as corrupt as the people doing dirty deeds, it is so sad.  We can only pray for something to change.
On a lighter note, many natural substances are being studied to show the effectiveness, of adding them to the chemotherapy and lessening the side effects, as well as making them more effective.
Margaret of Margarets Corner wrote a wonderful blog on this.
http://margaret.healthblogs.org/2012/07/16/killing-two-birds-with-one-stone-a-new-nano-curcumin-and-doxorubicin-study/

Hopefully, One day, more notice of natural things will become main stream.  I take Polymva with my Velcade (but skip it on drug day) this contains heavy doses of Alpha lipoic acid.  This capsule on its own it wonderful in blocking severe neuropathy and helping build the immune system.  500Mgs plus a day is great.  For those unable to purchase polymva the Alpha lipoic capsules are being added to several doctors regime to help chemo patients.  Have a great week and don't be beat by the heat!!!:)

Remembering Paula and a New supplement

What a week so far, and it is only Wednesday.  The sun is shining and the weather has finally given us some warmth. The animals are out and about.
One family is coping with the passing of their beloved Paula, who lived in Merseyside UK. She had MM and what a funny articulate person she was. God decided to take her back and we are at a loss for her departure, but richly filled from knowing her and sharing each others lives.
I never met Paula but had emails that helped me and the love of sharing information on a personal level.
Her blogs hilarious  and informative..  Her beloved dog Buddy was by her side as she struggled to maintain her health.. Her beloved husband,  Bernard, was her rock. She is out of pain and receiving the blessings of those passed on. We will miss her but also know she is at peace. Prayers for her family would be appreciated.  The myeloma baby hangs out at my computer and Paula made dozens of these and donated to help fight cancer.
Another friend has come down with Kidney cancer and now it is in his bladder. Only prayers and faith can help us all deal with this fast spreading disease.
Below I am suggesting a new supplement, I do not have any connection to this except it helps people, I do not get paid to put this information out
A New Supplement has come to my attention!
My friend Dina, has been a nutritionist for many years, I have known  her for over 15 years.  She does wonderful healing and always is looking for new products to help her customers, especially those with cancer.  Below I will tell you about it and it is up to you to check it out if you wish.  I have used products from this company.
Here is a blurb about AXIOM: Nutritional support for every cell in your body.

AXION™ is a comprehensive, full spectrum, Bi-Layer (sustained release) supplement that provides essential nutritional support for every cell and function of your body, including immune support, cardiovascular support, and metabolism. In addition, it contains essential vitamins, minerals, whole foods, enzymes, omega fatty acids, and probiotics for optimal health and vitality.
It’s not what you swallow, but what you absorb that counts. That’s why our extended release Bi-Layer technology has been developed. When you take regular vitamins, they dissolve too quickly and they get expelled in your urine instead of being fully absorbed. With our two-layer supplement, you get a sustained supply of nutrients. One instant release layer gives your body a kick-start of nutrients. The second layer, which has a specialized coating, releases another dose over a period of several hours. More vitamins are absorbed and less are eliminated. This process is a breakthrough in nutritional technology and could change the way supplements are used, less are eliminated. This is a breakthrough in vitamin absorption and could reshape the AM/PM vitamin world.

To read more about this and see if it something that would

help you, below are instructions how to purchase. Dina's

customers are having some remarkable results from Axiom. I

will leave her email and phone # at the end of this blog

Remember this is a nutritional supplement and something to

help the body heal.

A Lot to Be Thankful For

I am trying to figure out how this new blogger works! Like
anything new, one just has to get used to things.  I am showing pictures of Flowers used at my Nephew's wedding in Australia, it was awesome outside event totally organic and natural.
This week I want to thank my friends and family for all the love and care bestowed upon me as I battle along with my cancer. I am doing rather well, and yes I have setbacks but compared to others I am so fortunate.
I have been getting cards, letters and phone calls, from around the globe, encouraging me to keep the faith and not  give up.  This means so much to a chronically ill person, and one cannot  be thankful enough for support like this.
As I mentioned, I am on limited chemotherapy, at the moment, and even at that had a lot of bad side effects, so the kind doctor almost cut it in half.  I see this chemotherapy as a short term adjunct to my natural healing.  The type of cancer I have is extreme and so far no known cure. This does not deter me from believing I will be healed and not have to battle as much.
My natural supplements have been increased and I am happy to say they are holding back some of the nasty side effects that I would have shown by now.  Yes I did battle with some but I managed to figure out what to add to make my body work better.
When one has chemotherapy, their white and red blood cells are beat up along with the platelets, and Ihave been fortunate enough to have minimized the dropping of my blood work.  This past week I had a rest from chemo and along with my supplements was able to boost my white cell count almost to normal.  The doctors are surprised at how I do this.
I am thankful to the doctors and hospital as they are very kind and put up with my idiosyncrasies as to what I can and cannot do.  I am thankful for strangers who come up to me and tell me how pretty I look, it really is so nice to get these compliments, and for them to go out of their way to give them.
We need to pass on these gifts to others and always remember there is always someone worse off than you are.  I am thankful to my husband who takes care of me when I cannot.  I am thankful to God for his mercy.
At this time people are struggling with so many issues and it can be overwhelming.  Just stop and say a prayer of thanks for what we have.  Yesterday I met a man at the hospital and he took 30 minutes to tell us of his woes and could not get over the negative aspect.  I asked him "Do you have a roof over your head? Do you get fed daily, Do you have friends and family?" He said yes so I reminded him he had a lot to be thankful for.  We must look at the small things and focus on the positive.

My sister, who has suffered for 30+ years with extreme crippling disease, (I do not think I could do what she has)  She sees herself as normal and took the time to send me a beautiful card of encouragement and baked me the most delicious fruit cake.  (Made with out sugar or diet sugar and very healthy).  It reminded me of the cooking our mother did.
So I leave you with this thought, be thankful for what you have and not what you have lost!

Spring, Golf, Family, Easter

Here we are in Azalea country and very appropriate as it is the Masters
golf this weekend. (Where women are looked down on as members so it is a Manly club!!!) But the grounds are spectacular. No this Azalea bush is in Australia.
Spring, showers and golf are the order of the day. As this is Easter Weekend we have a lot to be thankful for. You can always find someone who is suffering more than yourself.
I love the little stuffed bunnies. At our last home we had the cutest rabbits running around wild but I think the other wild critters ate them.
I am thankful for what I have and pray for my fellow sufferers. A lot of my dear friends who have MM, seem to be struggling at this point, I send them Easter Blessings.
I have been trying to fin my music that I uploaded but like everything else I do, blank memory!
I am blessed to be doing relatively well, I only have 2 bone spots where it has been eaten away recently. This is a big thing, as all the other dozens of holes have decided to take a holiday, for which I am very grateful.
For the very first time in 8 years I am going to succumb to some chemotherapy. A lighter dose of Velcade weekly for a month, given under the skin. This is an effort to stop the bone being eaten away.
I do hope it works. Have pumped up my other natural supplements and it shows. The only little problem I have is some muscle spasms in my left shoulder. (The hole in my humerus is thought to be causing this.)
The family is gathering and we are small but mighty, and blessed to have them back here in ID.
My daffodils are having a lovely run and have such sweet perfume. I had help getting my vegies planted. We are struggling to keep out apricot flowers from being frozen. The warmth comes early, the tree blooms and then nasty Mr frost turns up.
So have a blessed Easter, be well, be happy, be thankful.

Holidays, Hospitals, Health

This is what it looked like in the summer at the beach in Australia. Flood rain. Well my friends it is about time I started blogging again. This site would not let me in and had to change password, although I did not forget it, but I guess it must be time sensitive.
Had a wonderful trip for my nephew's wedding in Australia.
It is supposed to be hot and humid and all we had was cold and rain, we were in the highlands about 1.5 hours south of Sydney, very beautiful, the ceremony was delayed and hour till we got thru the downpour then the sun came out. We had a marvelous day and a different kind of wedding outdoors, with the bride and groom and friends doing all the decoration.
A professional could not have done better. It was wonderful to have a wedding event for 4 days and was able to visit with friends and relatives in a calm setting.
Unfortunately I had a femur problem and my leg was re-injured and that put a big dent in our plans, then the roads flooded, we had 2 sunny mild days at the beach but 3 days of constant rain.
Had to come home early and at the airport the wheelchair tipped over with me in it. The airline tried to keep me off the plane but I said no way, I must get home to get my leg fixed. (I think they thought they would have to divert the plane over the pacific somewhere but I did very well) The flight attendants were kind of shocked I did not drop over dead or something. I told them it takes more than that to do me in.
After arriving home, with a few other diversions like no seats from Los Angeles and an overnight stay, we arrived home next pm late, to find out heater had gone out and it was Sunday. 45 Degrees in the house. The neighbors rallied around like troopers and we had lovely personal heaters till the found a part, which took 24 hours to get.
Then in 5 days off to the hospital to have a rod placed in my other femur. Went very well but had to stay 2 weeks to get back on my feet. My biggest problem is the holes that the MM keeps making in my bones. (I went to the ER in Australia to a public hospital, I can tell you I wanted to make sure my leg was not broken, what a bunch of people who had no clue what was going on. My sister an RN came with me, and we saw my x-rays on the screen and could see no break. However they wanted to do all sorts of things, I said no thanks and ran as fast as I could hobble back to the car. Scary!!!!) So much for people thinking subsidized medicine is the answer. The hospital was probably over 100 years old and believe me the equipment not much better.
I did my initial RN training in Aussie but how things have changed, there are still a handful of hospitals up to standard, but that is only if you pay for private insurance.
Hospital stay here was good, and after my mishap with the staff (broken collar bone) last go around the doc asked every day, "are you being treated well?"
After 6 weeks of various radiations on my "holes" am now having a rest. I have upped my natural supplements, added something new, and have half hearted agreed to a lesser chemo, which is in a milder dose, just to get those wretched holes to stop appearing, then back big time on my supplements. My "newest " supplement has had one super side effect. MY RBC's or Red blood cells were extremely low. My really nice oncologist said, your bone marrow just can't manufacture enuf and you might need a transfusion. Well low and behold, 3 weeks of new "stuff" and RBC's are normal along with everything else except the white cells, that took a beating from the radiation. So one must always be vigilant with one's own body.
I was given a tip on Gallium Nitrate, This was used up to 2003, according to the web, to help heal the MM patients, especially the ones who had holes in their bones. i wonder why it disappeared. I have a theory but no one can tell me if my theory is correct. I think the Gallium Nitrate cannot be patented so they formed another substance to do the same job. However it is very ineffective, (my opinion along with many others) It coats the bone but not into the bone. Side effects can be bad, even death!! It makes you wonder but these are just my opinions.
So my friends have a great week and will fill you in on the gallium nitrate when I have more information.
No Chemo for me until all wbc's are normal.
Have been doing a lot of fresh juices which really help. (MY jaw cracked while in hospital as I had a lesion at the hinge, and I ate a carrot, the snap could be heard a mile away, after radiation, can at least open my mouth to clean my teeth and gum some food down.)
MM patients are on an eternal journey so one must be strong. Prayers and blessings to all!!

Update, Christmas and Health

Hello my friends, I finally get a chance to say Happy Holidays, Thanks Giving, Christmas, Hannakua.
I am happy to say that my MM has gone into the no growth mode on my lytic, lesions, that were eating holes my bones. I still take my list of supplements but have added a new one that was cooked up just for me. I am so excited, as if this had not worked, I would have had to go on Chemo/Revlamid, and my body did not want that.
The doctor did not say much but was a little surprised things had calmed down. I am feeling so much better and my head is clearer.

I am reading about my friends who have so much suffering and wish I could pass it onto these dear friends who suffer so much. I am grateful to God as I prayed for my increased healing, it was touch and go for a while here and not a wonderful space to be in.
I am feeling happier and seem to be more healthier.
I found the little Christmas items above are so cute, am pleased to say I was strong enough to
go to the Christmas Tree festivals around the valley. I have given up on buying lots of gifts and
just do some token thank yous.
When one is near death it becomes important to look at the things that are meaningful. Christmas should be about Christ/Jesus (for those who believe in Christmas) and not about rushing out at 4am to get the latest toy of thing. When I was in my singing group we used to sing a song that said "put Christ in you Christmas this year".
We are gearing up for a long trip, and only the fact that I am on this new regime am I well enough to do this. We are off down under in January for a wedding, and it will be so nice and warm at that time. It is getting harder and harder to get travel discounts and we were fortunate to have it work out. The airlines won' let you upgrade with your points unless you book months ahead and even then you are fortunate if they let you use them, I have been doing this for 25 years and it is amazing how things have gone down hill in this regard. But on the other hand I am happy I can travel.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving and especially when I Only had to make my super fresh cranberry recipe, walk half a block and get fed.
This is a really difficult time for those with illness but especially cancer ass they want to be with their loved ones or travel and cannot. Another side issue is money, that flows out the door to the doctors and hospitals. Even with insurance we are not always covered. My friends son has had a brain tumor for 7 years and now with a relapse he is racking up big bills and I think it has made them almost broke.
It is wonderful to read a story of animals or children who have something special happen to them
Here is a nutty cat video to make you laugh: The music does not add to it.
Have a stress free week and do not overspend!

Winter Came Early but so did Healing!

This is a picture of our childhood paradise where we raised goats, cows, chickens, crops etc. It was a much simpler time, and definitely less stress. The food was home grown, we made our own butter and cheese and ice cream. Nothing like cream churned ice cream fresh. WE grew our own crops and sold the rest off to a large market.
Life goes on and I am happy to report that I am doing100% better than I was.
My natural products, that I poured into myself have been a great benefit, My body is healing and my MM is getting knocked on the head again. We just have to to get it back in its box but I am hopeful of same. I still have the Revlamid stored in the cupboard but have a feeling I may not need it...That was a close one....
Have wonderful docs who look out for me but not always understanding my preference for natural.
So much is now being opened up about natural versus older Western medicine. If we could have an opening of the minds where the younger docs can see the benefits of both it would be wonderful. In my quest to get better I have met many wonderful people but a few who have hindered my journey, I feel sorry for them as they are the losers in life.
With the date 11/11 looming many people are fearful but instead of being fearful pray for your fellow man and give up fear and embrace love; Here are a few hints we can use:-
  • Shine light into the darkness
  • See the heart in every person
  • Spread love and transformation to all
  • Invite spiritual guidance in supporting these suggestions This applies to healing ourselves, if we use this ideal instead of fear things work out better.
Here is a quote from Young Living about oolong tea:
When it comes to Jade Oolong tea it provide you more great health benefits :
1. One of the biggest health benefits of all is its capacity to aid weight loss. Experts from the University of Tokushima School of Medicine (Japan) proved that regular oolong tea consumption can stimulate fat burning process and specialists from the Suntory Research Center in Japan found that drinking Oolong tea can help lowering the fattening effects of the carbohydrates we receive with food. A research conducted by China in 1998 shows that of all the 102 female participants continuous consumption of oolong tea for six weeks resulted in body weight deduction.

Scientists from the University of Tokushima also found that oolong tea can double the amount of fat being excreted. They also proved that people who drank 2 cups of oolong tea each day burned over 157% fat than those who drank the same amount of green tea.

A US study conducted in 2001 by Physiologist Dr. William Rumpler of the US Agriculture Research Services’ Diet and Human Laboratory shows that oolong tea is effective in burning fat for energy.
2. It benefits for our skin it can do wonders with combating the aging of skin especially with wrinkles and dark sports.
3. It has strong powers to prevent heart disease and cancer.
4. It is beneficial for diabetes patients.
5. It will help reduce high blood pressure. The researches which took place in Aichi Medical University proved that drinking oolong tea can help in lowering our LDL (bad) cholesterol level and polyphenols containing in oolong tea have positive effects on our arteries and must be considered a good support for the function of our cardiovascular system.
6. It assists in prolonging and improving vitality and life span
MANY of us need to put on weight but when I first get my cancer active I put on a lot of weight. As we have little energy then it is hard to get it off, hence the above little Blurb.
This week several people asked about inflammation and how to reduce it, Margaret has a lot to say but once again in the fight against cancer, adding Pectasol, Qucertin, VitD or D3, along with Curcumin, helps fight disease and reduce inflammation. It is great for those on chemo as it helps the body cope better.
I am so thankful for my recovery and pray for those of you who have struggled lately. Have a great weekend, Be blessed, and Be well.
Here is a cute joke someone forwarded to me:
Reportedly, a woman was flying from Seattle to San Francisco.Unexpectedly, the plane was diverted to Sacramento along the way.The flight attendant explained that there would be a delay, and if the passengers wanted to get off the aircraft the plane would re-board in 50 minutes..

Everybody got off the plane except one lady who was blind.A man had noticed her as he walked by and could tell the lady was blind because her guide dog lay quietly underneath the seats in front of her throughout the entire flight..He could also tell she had flown this very flight before because the pilot approached her, and calling her by name, said, "Kathy, we are in Sacramento for almost an hour. Would you like to get off and stretch your legs?"

The blind lady said, "No thanks, but maybe Buddy would like to stretch his legs."

Picture this:All the people in the gate area came to a complete standstill when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with a guide dog for the blind!Even worse, the pilot was wearing sunglasses !People scattered.

They not only tried to change planes, but they were trying to change airlines!True story..... (but who cares if it isn't, it's funny!)Have a great day and remember.....THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR.A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER IS A DAY WASTED

Healing, faith, Future

The year has flown, here it is the 20th of October and the days are flying by.
Am happy to report my bone and rod and lesion check up went well, yesterday. I have faith I can stay on top of the latest set back and overcome and live a long and happy life.
Here I was just before I graduated, a long time ago. My if one only knew what was ahead, and really it is a blessing we do not, as we would give up before we started.

The world is in turmoil with death and destruction coming at us each day so when we see needles violence we pray for those that feel it is the only way. Those of us who have and are facing an earlier demise, hang onto every day as a precious gift. I thank the Lord each day for all my blessings, as I would not be writing this if I had no faith or prayer.
I tripled my natural things and they seem to be working. I am going to add a new supplement next week and pray for a miracle. I have nothing to loose and I am putting off the Revlamid/Chemo as long as I can. For some of you there is no other choice.
The sun is shining, the wild animals are having their last fling before the cold really sets in.
The CC ladies and Margaret have been coming up with real gems on research and progression of this MM disease.
The old Standbys Curcummin and Quercertin are a good additive to those taking chemo, it does help. Add some alpha lipoic acid caps and that helps with the side effects and also attacks the cancer.
I have come across lots of new articles and will try and recap next week. I am trying to get off the narcotics and am 99% successful. They screw with your mind. I am walking mostly unaided around the home. The home health did a physical therapy check on me yesterday and were impressed. I have no appetite but that is down the list to work on. If this loss of appetite helped me get slimmer it would be great but when you have no energy it is hard to burn fat.
I have daily carrot and greens juice which help. I was reading about Frankincense oil being a big destroyer of cancer. I use Young living oil as it is more pure and concentrated. I also have a bag from the Oman and you diffuse it, very strong but effective.
"Women with breast cancer survival rate is 5 years (89%)
1 out of 6 Men develop prostate cancer also very good, 5 year survival, much earlier screening and detection are used now Colon – up to 90% · Lung – up to 50% · Pancreas – up to 23% Can essential oils induce apoptosis in cancer cells?
Apoptosis: Is a form of cell death in which a programmed sequence of events leads to the elimination of cells without releasing harmful substances into the surrounding area.
· Researched has found that - Balsam fir, lavender, Frankincense, Palo Santo, sandalwood and tsuga – can all be used in and on the body for repairing any years ago Gary has said that the Essential Oils have enzymes and that is what digest cancer cells but no one would believe him.
Now there is proof. Studies have been going on about enzymes since 1993, an old enzyme(studied dates back to 1960s) and what was found that–a deoxy hydrogenas showed that Frankincense knows the difference between healthy cells and cancerous cells.
Research has showed the death of a cancer cell was ate up by enzymes activity.r. HK Lin is working with Dr. Mashmoud M. Suhail on the frankincense research for cancer.
Dr. Suhail lives in Oman, and runs our Oman farm and distillery for Young Living.
Dr. Suhail earned his medical degree from Al Anbar University and is now one of the world's foremost researchers on alternative medical therapies. His goal is to improve frankincense resin sorting and extraction methods to further increase the purity and potency of its essential oil."
From Gary Young, Young Living oils.
This makes great reading and encourages me to add as much natural as possilble.
Have a great week!!!
